Homemade Chilli Mushroom

Wow, today is a day about mushrooms. I have a friend who’s husband loves mushroom than anything else to eat. He finishes half of the mushrooms in the kitchen while they are just fried and waiting for the curry gravy to be done and dipped into it. Well this chili mushroom recipe is totally dedicated to vegetarian people who really fall into difficulties when they think about what to cook today as they skip the meat in their life. I am halfway through these difficulties as I don’t take non-veg 4 days a week. Mushroom is one among my favorite vegetables and here is the likable recipe for it.


Ingredients for Chili Mushroom:

  • Mushroom (1lb cut into quarter size or half size)
  • Corn flour(4-5tbsp)
  • Ginger garlic paste (1tbsp)
  • Capsicum (1 medium cut into small pieces)
  • Red, yellow bell pepper (1/2 cut into small pieces)
  • Tomato sauce (2tbsp)
  • Soya sauce (1/2tbsp)
  • Chili garlic sauce (optional if you want hot 1tbsp)
  • Coriander powder (1/2 tbsp)
  • Green chili sauce (as per taste)
  • Onion (2 medium cut into small pieces)
  • Oil(for frying)
  • Ginger (1inch minced)

Recipe of Chili Mushroom Curry:

  • Take a pan add oil for dip frying. In the mean time mix the corn flour, ½ tbsp ginger garlic paste, salt as per taste, and coriander powder with water and make a paste.
  • Add all mushroom to the paste and fry it in the hot oil. Make sure oil should be hot. Fry the mushrooms till it turn to golden brown.
  • Take a pan add 1 tbsp oil, when it becomes hot add the minced ginger then add the onion.
  • Fry the onion for 1-2 minute then add the capsicum and bell pepper fry it till both onion and capsicum become soft.
  • Add soya sauce with onion and mix it well.
  • Then add tomato, green chili sauce and chili garlic sauce. Then add the fried mushroom and mix it well.
  • Add little water cook it for 2-3 minute in medium heat.
  • Now garnish this with chopped coriander leaves and chopped spring onion.
