Fish was never my favorite food but gradually I started liking it, these days I feel like eating fish curry at least once a week. The fish curry recipe that I am sharing here is one of my favorite one. It is also very popular in Odisa and West Bengal of India. It is commonly popular as dahi mach.
During last few days I was in a huge hunt for recipes, that’s the reason for only 2 posts in May. Finally I settled on spicy mutton stew, it is a common style of cooking mutton/lamb in India. It gives a great flavor of its own juice. Actually stew is a combination of meat and vegetables that are simmered and cooked for a longtime.
People call minced meat to keema. Here I have used lamb meat, you can choose as per your wish like chicken, goat, beef, etc.
Do you like coconut? I know many people don’t like it like me. There are lots of ways to use coconut in your recipe.I have read lots of articles where it is recommended to eat coconut oil instead of olive and vegetable oil as it helps in lose weight but people are not use to it.
Chicken is easy to cook and it can go with anything like chapatti, naan bread, rice. Relatively it is low in fat and high in calorie. 171.0kcal is present in 100gm of chicken. Here I have an easy and delicious chicken recipe for you.
Pav bhaji literally means bread and vegetable. I know it may sounds little boring but believe me millions of Indians eat it everyday, it is quite popular in west coast of India. You know there is a very interesting story behind pav bhaji. It originated way back when lots of textile mills were in Mumbai. The reasons why pav bhaji was made are the workers, they had very less time to have their lunch and second reason was they could not afford a full meal because they have to go back to work and a full lunch would make them bit sleepy, so food venders realized the problem and they came with the conclusion to replace traditional roti/chapatti/rice to pav and the curry to spicy bhaji when the best pav bhaji was born. I can bet it would be the best snacks for you when you try it. Well it takes little time to make. I always want to put more taste to my food but I can give you a simple recipe which will take very less time to prepare it.
